Будаўнікі дзіцячых душ
(публічнае выступленне)
Яшчэ ў старажытнасці будаўніком дзіцячых душ лічылі настаўніка. Яны не выдзяляліся ў асобную прафесію, але сваё уменне і навыкі перадавалі наступным пакаленням. Дзякуючы настаўнікам, мы не толькі захавалі старыя ўменні, але і засвоілі новыя.
Яшчэ Канфуцый гаварыў, што асноўнай задачай гэтых людзей з’яўляецца ўменне адкрыць новыя веды вучню.
Першыя школы з’явіліся ў Грэцыі. Там чыталі лекцыі для дарослых людзей. Працяг перадачы вопыту расквітнеў у цэрквах. А ў эпоху Адраджэння школы мелі закрыты характар. Хлопчыкі і дзяўчынкі вучыліся асобна. Крыху пазней заможныя бацькі наймалі для сваіх дзяцей прыватных настаўнікаў, а простым юнакам і дзяўчатам гэтага прадставіць бацькі не маглі.
У 18-19 стагоддзях з’явіліся так званыя грамадскія школы, дзе адукацыю маглі атрымаць усе (і платна, і бясплатна). Зараз у асноўным адукацыя бясплатная, было б толькі жаданне вучыцца.
Веды падымаюць чалавецтва на новы ўзровень. Вось тут без настаўніка ніяк нельга.
У наш час прафесія настаўніка карыстаецца попытам. Бо не ўсе школы краіны маюць адукаваных і высокакваліфікаваных педагогаў. Іх паважаюць, іх працу высока ацэньваюць, бо іменна яны даюць нам тыя веды, якія потым дапамагаюць у кар’ерным росце, калі мы станем дарослымі.
Як цаглінку да цаглінкі складаюць будаўнікі, каб узвесці дом, так і настаўнікі з дня ў дзень вучаць нас быць дасціпнымі, справядлівымі, адказнымі і адукаванымі людзьмі. Якімі мы станем грамадзянамі, напалову залежыць ад іх – нашых настаўнікаў.
Прафесія гэта – цяжкая і складаная праца. Якія нервы трэба мець, каб кожнаму з нас растлумачыць, паказаць, даказаць, яшчэ паўтарыць, навучыць рашаць, пісаць, чытаць, дакламаваць.
У іх акенцах заўсёды позна свеціцца агеньчык, бо яны плануюць урокі наступнага дня, каб падрыхтаваць новыя цаглінкі для будаўніцтва нашай душы.
Кожны настаўнік – гэта аратар, бо ён гучна і зразумела павінен данесці да нас тую думку, тыя веды, якія хоча перадаць.
Яны заўсёды ў творчым пошуку, за імі цягнемся і мы. Новая інфармацыя заўсёды цікавіць, асабліва прыклады з жыцця, каб мы вучыліся не на сваіх, а чужых памылках.
Нашы настаўнікі справядлівыя, бо цэняць нас не за дысцыпліну на ўроках, а за якасць нашых ведаў.
І хоць прафесія гэта цяжкая, але я ў будучым хачу звязаць з ёй свой лёс, бо настаўнік – гэта чалавек (дапамагаюць з залы)
Н – настойлівы, непаўторны, нястомны, носьбіт ведаў
А – адукаваны, ашчадны, акрылены любоўю к дзецям
С – справядлівы, спакойны, сардэчны
Т – таленавіты, таварыскі, таемны
А – акуратны, адказны, адданы сваёй справе
Ў – удумлівы, вынаходлівы
Н – незласлівы, непахісны, няўрымслівы
І – імклівы, ідэальны
К – культурны, кемлівы.
Выбірайце гэту прафесію, і вас заўсёды будуць называць Чалавекам з вялікай літары, Будаўніком дзіцячых душ.

As a matter of fact the choice to become a teacher is never made lightly.
No doubt this decision must be a culmination of a progress of reflection about what you want to do with your life.
Moreover, it must be based on criteria that reflect your personal values, temperaments, experiences and skills.
Needless to say that teaching is one of the most important functions performed in our culture.
I strongly believe that teachers individually and collectively have the ability to not only change the world, but improve it.
As Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and a Nobel Prize laureate said: ‘ One child, one teacher, one book can change the world.”
Within the process of teaching a person can be a part of a noble profession with the hope of one day being counted among those in whom future teachers find inspiration.
It goes without saying that many great teachers became heroes and role models for their students.
I admit that great teachers are good at explaining content, are patient yet firm with students , are always fair, set high expectations , know how to motivate , and use humor appropriately.
Besides they are always great communicators who have a command of their subject matter content.
But on the other hand, an excellent teacher is not just someone who explains.
And not someone who just demonstrates.
In fact, an excellent teacher is someone who inspires.
Because an excellent teacher always goes the extra mile.
They can take any individual and make them truly believe that their hopes and dreams are within their reach.
Moreover, the chance to inspire another human being is not an opportunity.
I’d say, it’s a challenge.
In my view, a teacher must not only know his or her school subject, they must also be prepared to teach other ‘ things’; things, such as character, morals, etc., which may prove to be more valuable than knowledge itself.
Stephen King, a famous American writer said: ‘We never know which lives we influence, or when, or why.’
This is the type of teacher that I appreciate most of all.
I am sure that children should learn in a safe and comfortable environment so that their self-esteem will be increased, because a high self-esteem will enable them to strive for and accomplish any goals they set for themselves.
Carl Jung, a world famous psychiatrist and philosopher, said: ‘ One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touch our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child.’
Undoubtedly, a teacher plays an important part in helping them to do that.
For all these reasons, I ask myself, what better job could be there be.
My answer is none because teaching is more than a job.
And I personally think that it is an important contribution everybody can make to better our society, and I am excited about the opportunity to do so.
